To enhance the outdoor space, directly overlooking the shores of Lake Maggiore as if it were a balcony, is the intervention carried out at the request of chef Luigino Pavanello to expand the restaurant’s reception capacity with a breathtaking view. The performed intervention involved the concept of a veranda to be used during the hot summer period to protect diners from the sun’s rays but also in the mid-season as a winter garden; the modern and essential lines integrate perfectly with the traditional architecture of the Locanda, reducing the landscape impact of a large covered space such as the constructed artifact.
